You can donate for a water well via  www.nayf16.org  . You can also donate for a water well by filling in the application form at the office. Each water well has a nameplate. The donor determines what will be on the nameplate. After completing the payment of your donation, you will receive a confirmation email from us. After this, your donation will be processed in the system. The realization of the water well takes an average of 6 months. After realization, the donor will receive photos, video and a report (on USB) with detailed expenses of the water well. This will be sent to the postal address of the donor.

The realization of a water well takes an average of 6 months. This is due to the following factors:

• The realization of the water well does not start at the moment you have donated. After the donations for the water wells have reached a certain amount, the partner organizations are informed and the work begins. This can take some time.
• The country in question will have to investigate the locations for the wells thoroughly. Furthermore, a permit will have to be obtained from the official authorities.
• After the realization of the water wells, they will be checked. Then an official opening will take place per well at different locations, which takes time.
• After the official opening, the photos, video and data of the water well will be sent to the office of IHH Netherlands. Here they will be compiled into a complete report.

The prices for a water well differ per country due to several factors:

• The different models of the water well
• The bottom depth of the water well
• The economic conditions of the country
• The wells are located far from the capital or larger cities

You can sponsor an orphan via https://www.nayf16.org/index.php/orphanage/orphans . This is also possible at our office. Here you can fill in the application form. By sponsoring an orphan you give us the authorization to debit an amount of € 30,- from your account in the last week of each month. Approximately 2-3 weeks after the first contribution, the sponsor will receive the details of the orphan with birth certificate and the death certificate of the father by mail. If desired, this can also be sent digitally.

You will receive information about your orphan once a year. At the beginning of each year you will receive a progress report with the most recent photo of the orphan.

NAYF expects an orphan to be supported for at least a year so that the orphan will have security for a period of time that it can look forward to. However, you can end the sponsorship at any time by sending an e-mail to  info@nayf16.org , preferably with a month's notice. The child will then be put back on the waiting list until he/has to be chosen by another sponsor.

Your support continues until the orphan no longer needs the sponsorship. If an orphan is married, deceased or has left for another area where contact has been lost, the sponsorship will stop. If an orphan is in education, where the help is then extra needed, this support can continue until the age of 25 (until graduation). If an orphan is not (any longer) in education but is in need (due to family circumstances, unemployment, unmarried), the sponsorship will continue until the age of 20. If this is the case, our local partner office will inform us and we will keep you informed.
